Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Netflix Launch Global Film Series to Promote Indian Tourism

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has partnered with Netflix to launch a ten-part promotional film series aimed at showcasing India’s festivals, heritage and cuisine to global audiences.

The initiative follows a non-commercial Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2025 between the two organisations to promote Indian tourism destinations through cinematic storytelling and digital platforms.

The first two films—India’s Vibrant Culture, Festivals and Heritage and Flavours of India—were unveiled by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

Developed under the Incredible India campaign, the films highlight India’s festivals, cuisine, wildlife, adventure tourism and diverse landscapes, with visuals inspired by productions filmed across India.

Officials said the series aims to leverage the growing influence of film and streaming content in shaping global travel choices and enhancing international visibility of Indian destinations.
