The Global Association of Events and Hospitality Professionals has announced the appointment of Sanjay Sahgal as Director – Programme & Coordination, further strengthening its leadership team.
Bringing over three decades of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Sahgal has built a strong track record across diverse segments including FITs, GITs, corporate travel, conferences, seminars, and international trade fairs. Over the years, he has been associated with leading travel brands such as SOTC Travel, Kuoni, and Southern Travels, gaining extensive expertise in both operational and strategic roles.
In his new position, Sahgal will oversee programme execution and coordination within the association. His mandate includes enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening member engagement, and driving impactful initiatives aimed at industry growth and collaboration.
Welcoming the appointment, GAEHP President Rajesh Arya expressed confidence in Sahgal’s capabilities, stating that his vast experience and dynamic approach will significantly contribute to the organisation’s long-term vision.
