OTOAI signs an MoU with ITOA to boost tourism between the Two countries
We are excited to announce that at ITB India 2024, a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Iranian Tour Operators Association (ITOA) and the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI). This landmark agreement signifies a major advance in enhancing tourism relations between India and Iran.
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Mostafa Shafie Shakib, Chairman of ITOA, and Mr. Riaz Munshi, President of OTOAI. The ceremony took place at the OTOAI Booth (D29) during ITB India, with notable figures from both associations in attendance, including Mr. Shravan Bhalla, Vice President of OTOAI, and Ms. Monia Kapoor, Joint Secretary of OTOAI.
This collaboration highlights a shared dedication to advancing tourism, exploring new opportunities, and fostering sustainable partnerships between the two countries. Mr. Shakib’s presence as the lead signatory from the Iranian side emphasized the importance of this agreement, further supported by other prominent members of the Iranian delegation.
