Rajeev Kohli, Joint Managing Director of Creative Travel, has been elected to the Committee of Administration of India’s prestigious Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC). Representing the tourism sector, he joins a distinguished panel of 10 members from various industries, including healthcare, IT, logistics, education, and entertainment, to spearhead India’s service export agenda.
SEPC, established by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is a key trade body promoting the export of Indian services globally. It facilitates international trade by organizing fairs, policy advocacy, and fostering partnerships to strengthen India’s position as a global hub for service-based industries.
Delighted with the opportunity, Rajeev Kohli said, “This platform enables me to directly voice the tourism sector’s needs to national policymakers. My goals include expanding tourism’s contribution to the economy, increasing industry membership in SEPC, and collaborating with stakeholders to craft impactful strategies.”
With decades of leadership experience in tourism, including serving as the first Asian President of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), Kohli’s inclusion is anticipated to bolster SEPC’s mission of advancing India’s service exports, particularly in the tourism sector.
