Strengthening its international network from Bengaluru, Air India Express has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Bengaluru and Bangkok starting October 18, 2025. The new route will provide seamless non-stop connectivity for travellers from Bengaluru and neighbouring regions to Thailand, just in time for the festive and holiday season. To mark the launch, the airline has introduced special Xpress Value fares starting at ₹16,800 for a round trip, with one-way fares priced at ₹9,000 for Bengaluru–Bangkok and ₹8,850 for Bangkok–Bengaluru. Bookings are now open through the airline’s award-winning website airindiaexpress.com, its mobile app, and other major booking channels.
The schedule effective from October 18 offers daily departures from Bengaluru at 11:00 AM, arriving in Bangkok at 4:45 PM, and return flights from Bangkok at 5:45 PM, landing in Bengaluru at 8:30 PM (all timings local). Bangkok, one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations, is celebrated for its rich culture, iconic temples, vibrant nightlife, and diverse cuisine, making this route a convenient choice for both leisure and business travellers.
This addition further boosts Air India Express’ presence in Thailand, where it already connects Bangkok with Lucknow, Pune, and Surat, and operates direct services from Hyderabad to Phuket. Bengaluru, the airline’s largest domestic hub, currently handles 440 weekly flights connecting 30 domestic destinations and four international ones. Recently, the airline has also expanded its domestic network with new direct services to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun, strengthening connectivity from India’s tech capital.
Passengers on the new Bengaluru–Bangkok route can enjoy enhanced travel experiences with ‘Xpress Biz’ seats, the airline’s business-class equivalent, now available on more than 40 new aircraft. Additional services include ‘Xpress Ahead’ priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling, along with ‘Gourmair’ hot meals that offer a curated blend of regional and international cuisine.
Highlighting India’s cultural heritage, Air India Express continues its celebrated ‘Tales of India’ initiative, featuring over 50 unique tail designs inspired by traditional art forms from across 25 states, including Sozani embroidery from Kashmir, Assamese Jaapi motifs, Bengal’s Kalighat paintings, Warli art from Maharashtra, and Karnataka’s Chittara designs, among others. Through this new route, Air India Express not only enhances international connectivity but also takes India’s timeless craftsmanship and cultural vibrancy to global skies.
