
In a strategic move to enhance tourism infrastructure and improve hospitality services, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Mr. Neelu Sharma chaired a comprehensive review meeting with leaseholders of 15 motels currently operating under the Board’s lease model. The session aimed to assess ongoing development works, identify operational challenges, and streamline efforts for timely project execution.
During the meeting, Mr. Sharma emphasized the urgency of resolving on-ground issues faced by lease owners and instructed the concerned teams to ensure swift coordination and accountability. He stressed the importance of efficient implementation to position Chhattisgarh as a competitive tourism destination. So far, three motels have successfully commenced operations, while the remaining are on track to become fully functional within the next six months, adhering to the planned timeline.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including Managing Director Mr. Vivek Acharya, General Manager Mr. Vedvrat Sirmaur, and Deputy General Manager Mr. Sandeep Thakur. They provided status updates and assured full support to facilitate smooth operations and quality service standards.
This initiative marks a significant step in Chhattisgarh’s journey toward strengthening its tourism potential and attracting a larger influx of both domestic and international travelers through upgraded accommodation facilities.
