Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s pavilion has become a major attraction at the Global Investors Summit. The state’s key tourist destinations, ancient temples, royal forts, and breathtaking natural sites are being showcased using advanced technology and interactive panels. Delegates are experiencing a live holographic darshan of Mahakal, and specially sourced prasad from Ujjain’s Baba Mahakal temple is being distributed. Additionally, through virtual reality, delegates can enjoy an immersive experience of Orchha, Khajuraho, and the Sanchi Stupa while cycling, along with glimpses of the region’s wildlife.

A special zone showcasing wellness tourism with sound healing technology has been created in the pavilion. A live counter for the state’s traditional handicraft, Bagh print, allows delegates to learn about the craft up close and purchase products like sarees and stoles. To make the GIS experience memorable, a Mowgli selfie point has been set up, where delegates can take selfies with characters from The Jungle Book, including Mowgli, Bagheera, a cheetah and a tiger.

Tourism, Culture and Religious Trust & Endowments Minister (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi said, “Modern technology has been utilised at GIS to introduce guests to Madhya Pradesh’s historical, natural and cultural heritage. Virtual experiences will not only promote the state’s legacy on a broader scale but also enhance the delegates’ interest in our tourist destinations. The holographic darshan of Mahakal and the virtual tour of Orchha at the pavilion have been highly appreciated. Additionally, investors and delegates visiting the pavilion are being informed about investment opportunities in tourism projects and the provisions of the state’s new tourism policy.”
