Emirates has officially unveiled its first Airbus A350-900 at a special event in Dubai, marking a significant milestone for the airline. The widebody aircraft arrived in the UAE two days before the event, showcasing its advanced design and features.
A New Chapter for Emirates
The A350-900, registered as A6-EXA, is Emirates’ first new aircraft type since 2008. It landed at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on November 25, following its departure from Airbus’ final assembly line in Toulouse, France. The flight took a detour through the United Kingdom’s airspace, reportedly due to documentation-related procedures, before arriving in Dubai.
First Flight Details
As per data from ch-aviation, this specific A350-900 completed its maiden flight on September 25. Emirates has now become the proud owner of the aircraft, which is expected to play a crucial role in the airline’s future operations.
