FAITH Announces New Office Bearers for 2024-2026 Term

The Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH) has announced the results of its elections held earlier today in New Delhi. The newly elected Office Bearers will lead the organization for the term 2024–2026, working towards the collective growth and development of India’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

Elected Office Bearers:

  • Chairman: Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Hotel Association of India (HAI)
  • Vice Chairmen:
    • Mr. Ajeet Bajaj, Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI)
    • Mr. Ajay Prakash, Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI)
  • General Secretary: Mr. Rajiv Mehra, Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO)
  • Treasurer: Mr. Kanwarjit Singh Sawhney, Indian Tourist Transporters Association (ITTA)

FAITH represents a coalition of 10 national associations across India’s tourism and hospitality industry, including ADTOI, ATOAI, FHRAI, HAI, IATO, ICPB, IHHA, ITTA, TAAI, TAFI, and cause partner AIRDA. The federation aims to serve as a unified voice for the sector, driving initiatives to boost tourism and achieve national growth targets.

Expressing gratitude, Mr. Rajiv Mehra, General Secretary of FAITH, thanked Mr. Homa Mistry, the Returning Officer for the elections, for overseeing the process. Speaking on behalf of the newly elected team, Mr. Mehra pledged their commitment to fostering the tourism and hospitality industries in alignment with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.

The Office Bearers emphasized their intention to work collaboratively towards achieving the targets set for the sector, focusing on significant contributions to India’s tourism landscape.
