FLY91 Adds Extra Flights for Diwali to Meet Rising Festive Travel Demand

With Diwali travel picking up pace across western and southern India, regional carrier FLY91 has announced additional flights to cater to the festive surge. The airline will operate special services on key routes connecting Goa, Sindhudurg, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru to ensure smooth and convenient travel during the celebrations.

Extra flights have been introduced on October 17 between Goa–Bengaluru–Goa and Sindhudurg–Bengaluru–Sindhudurg; on October 18 and 19 for Goa–Bengaluru–Goa, Goa–Hyderabad–Goa, and Sindhudurg–Hyderabad–Sindhudurg sectors; and on October 21 for the Goa–Pune–Goa route. Tickets for all additional flights are now open for booking on FLY91’s official website.

Commenting on the announcement, Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and CEO, FLY91, said:

“Diwali is a time for families to reunite, and travel demand naturally peaks during this period. We’ve added extra flights to make festive travel smoother and more accessible for our customers. Our focus continues to be on offering reliable, comfortable, and affordable connectivity across regional India—especially during such important occasions.”

In a special festive initiative, FLY91 will also donate ₹100 for every ticket booked via its official website between October 15–31 to a child-centric charity, spreading festive cheer among underprivileged children.

FLY91 has been proactive in scaling up capacity during high-demand seasons. Earlier, the airline operated additional flights on the Pune–Sindhudurg–Pune route during Ganesh Chaturthi.

Headquartered in Goa, FLY91 continues to expand its network across Tier-II and Tier-III cities, currently serving eight domestic destinations including Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Solapur, Pune, and Agatti (Lakshadweep)—strengthening its mission to boost regional connectivity and inclusive growth.
