FLY91 Expands Regional Network, Launches Services to Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Hubballi

Panaji, April 2026:* Goa-headquartered regional airline FLY91 has announced the launch of services to *Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Hubballi, along with the introduction of five new sectors, as part of its ongoing network expansion across regional India. The new operations will begin in a phased manner between *April 10 and April 17, 2026.

With this expansion, the airline will significantly strengthen regional connectivity in southern and south-central India, while adding nearly 30,000 additional seats per month across its network.

New Routes and Flight Operations

Under the expansion plan, the airline will operate:

  • Double daily flights on Hyderabad–Rajahmundry
  • Double daily flights on Hyderabad–Vijayawada
  • Daily flights between Hyderabad–Hubballi
  • Daily flights between Hubballi–Bengaluru
  • Five weekly flights on Hyderabad–Solapur
  • Increased frequency on Goa–Solapur to six flights per week

Bookings for all new routes are now open through the airline’s website and travel partners.

Focus on Tier-2 and Tier-3 Connectivity

Commenting on the expansion, *Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, said that Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are becoming major drivers of India’s economic growth, entrepreneurship and domestic travel demand. He stated that the airline’s expansion aligns with its vision of *“Connecting Bharat”*, and the addition of Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Hubballi will take the airline’s network to *12 cities.

Introduction of Smartbag91

Alongside the network expansion, the airline has also introduced *Smartbag91, a pre-book excess baggage product designed especially for international connecting passengers. The service allows travellers connecting through major hubs like *Hyderabad and Bengaluru to pre-book additional baggage at attractive rates without complicated documentation, making international connections smoother and more convenient.

Boost to Regional Economy

The addition of *Rajahmundry, **Vijayawada, and *Hubballi is expected to support regional economic activity by improving connectivity to key commercial, industrial and educational centres. Improved air connectivity often leads to increased business travel, tourism growth and investment opportunities in emerging cities.

Earlier this year, the airline had launched daily flights on the Kochi–Agatti route, improving connectivity to Lakshadweep. The airline is also planning to add Indore, Nanded and Mangalore to its network in the coming weeks.

With the latest expansion, FLY91 will now operate flights to Goa (Manohar International Airport, Mopa), Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Solapur, Jalgaon, Sindhudurg, Kochi and Agatti, further strengthening its position as a growing regional connectivity airline in India.
