Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing low-cost carrier flyadeal has announced the launch of its scheduled operations to India with daily flights between Riyadh and Hyderabad beginning July 1, 2026, marking the airline’s official entry into one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
Tickets for the new route are now available through the airline’s website, mobile app, and travel agency network. The launch also strengthens air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and India amid growing economic, cultural, and tourism ties between the two countries.
Commenting on the development, Sanjiv Kapoor, Acting CEO and Executive Vice President Strategies at Saudia Group, said India has long been part of the airline’s international expansion plans and represents a key strategic market for both the group and the airline. He noted that Hyderabad is the first step in flyadeal’s broader India expansion strategy, with another Indian destination expected to be announced soon.
He added that the airline’s low-fare model, combined with efficient operations and on-time performance, would complement the long-established India operations of sister carrier Saudia, which has served the Indian market since 1964.
The Riyadh–Hyderabad route will be operated using Airbus A320neo aircraft configured with 186 all-economy seats. The aircraft feature USB charging ports at every seat and Airbus’ Airspace cabin interiors with larger overhead storage bins.
As per the announced schedule, the daily flight will depart Riyadh at 11:20 PM and arrive in Hyderabad at 6:50 AM the following day, while the return service will leave Hyderabad at 7:50 AM and reach Riyadh at 10:40 AM local time.
The airline’s India launch comes as Saudia Group accelerates expansion plans aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. By the end of the decade, flyadeal aims to expand its network to more than 100 destinations and significantly grow its fleet with the addition of Airbus A321neo and A330-900neo aircraft from 2027 onward.
