Heritage Aviation, a leading name in India’s helicopter services, has announced the launch of daily helicopter flights on the Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route. This initiative, under the UDAN scheme, aims to boost regional connectivity while significantly reducing travel time in Uttarakhand’s remote yet picturesque regions.
The new service will operate two daily flights using 7-seater helicopters. The first flight will depart from Pithoragarh at 10:00 AM, returning from Almora at 10:20 AM. The second flight will leave Pithoragarh at 1:40 PM, with the return leg departing Almora at 2:05 PM.
The fare for the Pithoragarh-Almora-Pithoragarh route has been set at an affordable Rs. 2,500 per passenger, making it accessible to both residents and tourists.
CEO and Managing Director Rohit Mathur emphasized Heritage Aviation’s commitment to connecting key towns and regions in Uttarakhand. “Very soon, we will be starting daily flights on Dehradun-Bageshwar, Haldwani-Bageshwar, and Dehradun-Nainital sectors. Our goal is to ensure more local people benefit from these affordable flights,” Mathur stated.
This latest addition to Heritage Aviation’s network comes after successful services to destinations like Munsyari and Champawat. The initiative is expected to boost local economic growth, foster tourism, and provide unparalleled aerial views of Uttarakhand’s stunning landscapes.
Heritage Aviation continues to lead in regional aviation, enhancing accessibility and safety for travellers in the region.
