Hermitage Hotel & Resort, one of Forte dei Marmi’s most iconic hospitality destinations, will officially join Starhotels Collezione from May 28, opening a new chapter for the historic Versilia property.
Hidden behind the elegance of Forte dei Marmi, the resort unfolds across more than one and a half hectares of lush private gardens, creating a peaceful retreat where greenery, privacy and slow living define the guest experience. Unlike conventional seaside hotels, Hermitage offers a more intimate atmosphere where nature becomes an integral part of daily life.
At the heart of the resort, Cabana Beach introduces a distinctive poolside beach concept inspired by Forte dei Marmi’s famous cabanas, surrounded by tropical vegetation including palms, banana trees and strelitzias. Designed as a place of relaxation throughout the day, the area combines soft shade, calm surroundings and a refined yet informal ambiance.
The culinary experience is spread across several spaces within the property, offering everything from pizza and barbecue to authentic Versilian cuisine. Orto all’Hermitage Restaurant, set among lemon trees, flowers and aromatic herbs, focuses on seasonal ingredients and local flavors through a farm-to-table philosophy supported by the resort’s organic garden. Guests can also enjoy tastings, aperitifs and relaxed evening gatherings beneath pergolas and at the Cabana Lounge Bar.
Hermitage Hotel & Resort also reimagines the modern family resort experience with a dedicated green zone designed exclusively for children. Young guests can enjoy a variety of activities including Lego Lab, Circus Lab, treasure hunts, sports and creative programs, while parents relax in separate tranquil areas.
