Marriott International has announced a major milestone for The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Series by Marriott in India, with 75 hotels now signed and 50 already operational under its collaboration with Concept Hospitality Private Limited.
The expansion, achieved in less than six months since the brand’s launch in November 2025, has added over 3,556 rooms to Marriott’s India portfolio and strengthened its presence across 43 cities spanning Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
According to Marriott International, the rapid growth positions India as the foundation market for the global expansion of the Series by Marriott brand, which focuses on regionally rooted hospitality backed by Marriott Bonvoy’s international standards and distribution network.
Speaking on the milestone, Kiran Andicot said the achievement validates the brand’s vision of scaling with speed while maintaining consistent guest experiences and efficient conversion opportunities for hotel owners.
Meanwhile, Suhail Kannampilly said the partnership between The Fern’s regional hospitality expertise and Marriott’s global systems has received strong response from both hotel owners and travellers.
The portfolio now includes properties in major cities, resort destinations and emerging markets, including Mumbai, Jaipur, Goa, Igatpuri and Bengaluru.
Series by Marriott has been designed for “global domestic” travellers seeking reliable hospitality standards alongside local experiences and region-specific character. All properties under the collaboration participate in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme.
