
IndiGo is expanding its international network with the launch of direct flights between Mumbai and Krabi, Thailand, starting March 23, 2025. Initially operating six times a week, the airline will increase frequency to daily flights from March 30, 2025. This new route strengthens IndiGo’s presence in Thailand, adding to its existing connections to Bangkok and Phuket.
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating that the route will enhance connectivity between India and Thailand, benefiting both tourism and trade. With over 90 weekly flights between the two countries, IndiGo aims to provide seamless travel experiences for leisure, adventure, and business travelers.
Krabi, a tropical paradise on Thailand’s southern coast, is famous for its limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and iconic destinations like Railay Beach, Hong Island, and Phi Phi Islands. The province also offers cultural attractions, lush jungles, and growing MICE opportunities, making it an ideal destination for both tourists and business travelers.
Mumbai, India’s financial and cultural hub, offers a blend of history, modernity, and vibrant city life, featuring landmarks like the Gateway of India and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
