The guide simplifies trip planning by allowing users to book hotels, tents, flights, trains, and buses on a single platform. Powered by ixigo’s AI-driven tool PLAN, the microsite delivers tailored itineraries and immersive content, such as videos highlighting Prayagraj’s spiritual and cultural heritage, iconic landmarks, temples, and local food trails.
The launch coincides with a 2.6x surge in flight and train bookings to Prayagraj and surrounding areas. Year-on-year flight bookings to Prayagraj have jumped by 162%, while Varanasi and Lucknow airports recorded increases of 127% and 42%, respectively. Train bookings have risen by 187%, with solo travelers, particularly women, making up a significant portion of the demand. Bus bookings have also seen substantial growth, with Delhi (27%), Nagpur (18%), and Jaipur (15%) leading the charge.
