Kerala Tourism has gained international recognition by winning top honors at the Golden City Gate Awards 2025, held during ITB Berlin, one of the world’s leading travel trade shows. The state’s latest campaign, Come Together in Kerala, secured the prestigious Silver Star Award in the Campaign International category, reinforcing Kerala’s status as a premier travel destination. Additionally, the Shubha Mangalyam – Weddings in Kerala music video won the Excellent Award in the Music International category, highlighting Kerala’s appeal as an exotic wedding destination.
Mr. Vishnuraj P IAS, Additional Director General of Kerala Tourism, received the awards in Berlin, expressing pride in the achievement. He emphasized that these accolades reaffirm Kerala’s global tourism stature, with Come Together in Kerala showcasing the state’s rich cultural and natural beauty, while Shubha Mangalyam positions Kerala as an ideal wedding destination.
Recognized as the “Oscars of Tourism Films,” the Golden City Gate Awards honor excellence in tourism marketing worldwide. These wins further strengthen Kerala’s brand as God’s Own Country, solidifying its position as a top global travel destination and its commitment to innovative, sustainable tourism promotion.
