PT Indonesia Airlines Group (INA), a subsidiary of Singapore-based Calypte Holding Pte. Ltd., is poised to revolutionize air travel in Indonesia with the launch of its premium international airline, Indonesia Airlines. Based at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, the airline will exclusively operate international flights, aiming to deliver a luxurious travel experience akin to private jet services on commercial flights.
Indonesia Airlines CEO, Iskandar, announced that the airline’s launch follows a comprehensive feasibility study conducted with aviation consultants from Singapore and the United States. The airline will begin operations with a fleet of 20 aircraft, including 10 narrow-body Airbus A321neo or A321LR planes and 10 wide-body Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft, introduced gradually.
The airline has assembled a highly experienced board of directors, including a former Singapore Airlines pilot with over 40 years of experience, a Commercial Director with 21 years of expertise at major airlines like Emirates and Asiana Airlines, and a Product and Service Director with 25 years of experience at Royal Brunei and Emirates. This leadership team underscores Indonesia Airlines’ commitment to safety, premium service, and operational excellence.
Indonesia Airlines aims to become a global symbol of Indonesian prosperity and hospitality, redefining air travel with a focus on luxury and safety. “Our mission is to offer a new era of luxury, combining the comfort of private jets with the accessibility of commercial flights,” Iskandar stated.
