Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, is expanding its presence in the Indian market as part of its strategic focus on growth aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. With over 50 years of service in India, the airline is set to increase flight frequencies and improve services to meet the evolving needs of Indian travelers.
Since launching its first flight to Mumbai in 1965, Saudia has established strong connectivity with India, operating 54 weekly flights to six major cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, and Kozhikode. The airline aims to capitalize on India’s tourism potential, targeting 7.5 million Indian visitors annually to Saudi Arabia by 2030.
To enhance the travel experience, Saudia is expanding its offerings, including the AI-powered Travel Companion (TC) platform that enables personalized travel solutions such as hotel bookings, transportation, and activity planning. Additionally, the airline has revamped its AlFursan loyalty program for easier rewards management.
Saudia’s growth plans are closely tied to Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to turn the Kingdom into a global tourism hub. The airline is poised to support this vision by facilitating religious pilgrimages, business travel, and leisure tourism. Saudia is also investing in a fleet expansion of 105 new aircraft to meet growing demand and improve connectivity.
As it strengthens its position in India, Saudia remains committed to providing superior services and enhancing the travel experience for Indian passengers, further solidifying the vital link between India and Saudi Arabia.
