
National carrier SriLankan Airlines has announced the resumption of its daily flight operations to Riyadh and Dubai, following a temporary disruption linked to the evolving situation in the Middle East.
The airline confirmed that services between Colombo and Riyadh are scheduled to resume tonight, while flights to Dubai will restart from tomorrow. The move marks a gradual return to normal operations on two key routes connecting Sri Lanka with the Gulf region.
According to the airline, flight UL265 from Colombo to Riyadh is scheduled to depart at 18:15 local time, with the return service UL266 leaving Riyadh at 22:35. Meanwhile, flights between Colombo and Dubai will operate as UL231, departing Colombo at 12:40, and UL232, departing Dubai at 17:00.
The carrier said it continues to closely monitor developments in the region and remains committed to maintaining the highest safety standards for passengers and crew. The airline also noted that it will keep travellers updated regarding any operational adjustments as the situation evolves.
Riyadh and Dubai are among the key Middle East destinations served by SriLankan Airlines, catering to both leisure and business travellers as well as connecting traffic across the airline’s wider network.
