Star Air Launches Direct Bengaluru–Indore Flight from September 16, 2025, Boosting Tourism and Connectivity

Star Air has announced the launch of a new direct flight between Bengaluru (BLR) and Indore (IDR) starting September 16, 2025, operating three times a week with the fuel-efficient Embraer E175 aircraft. The service will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with flight S5204 departing Bengaluru at 16:30 IST and arriving in Indore at 18:00 IST, cutting travel time to just 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The new route is expected to significantly boost tourism and cultural exchange between the two vibrant cities. Bengaluru, India’s tech hub known for its heritage landmarks, gardens, and diverse food culture, will now be more accessible to Indore’s residents. At the same time, Bengaluru’s travelers will have direct access to Indore’s rich heritage, including attractions like Rajwada Palace, Lal Baag Palace, and the famous street food markets that define the city’s culinary reputation.

By enhancing regional connectivity, Star Air’s new service is set to support domestic tourism, local economies, and cultural exchange. The introduction of this direct flight aligns with India’s broader push to strengthen regional air links, offering leisure and business travelers a convenient way to experience two of the country’s most dynamic destinations.
