Turkish Airlines and Galataport Istanbul Promote Türkiye as a Cruise Tourism Hub at Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami

Turkish Airlines and Galataport Istanbul joined forces at the prestigious Seatrade Cruise Global event held in Miami from April 7–10, showcasing Türkiye’s growing prominence in the global cruise tourism industry. Sharing a joint booth, the two leading Turkish brands highlighted Istanbul’s unique travel experiences, expanding flight network, and cutting-edge cruise infrastructure—including Galataport, home to the world’s only underground cruise terminal. Turkish Airlines, renowned for flying to more countries than any other airline, presented its extensive connectivity and premium service options for cruise passengers to U.S. tourism professionals and investors. Meanwhile, Galataport Istanbul—previously named “Port of the Year” at Seatrade Cruise Global—introduced new features like the “Port Pass” to enhance passenger experiences. The collaboration aims to attract more cruise lines to include Istanbul in their itineraries, boost passenger traffic, and strengthen Türkiye’s position as a premier global cruise destination.
