Turkish Airlines Expands Spanish Network with New Daily Flights to Seville

Turkish Airlines has announced the launch of direct daily flights between Istanbul Airport and Seville Airport, marking the Spanish city as its sixth destination in Spain. The new service, which began on September 17, 2025, strengthens the airline’s presence in Southern Europe and enhances connectivity for both leisure and business travelers. With Seville joining Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, and Bilbao in the airline’s Spanish network, Turkish Airlines continues to build on its mission of bridging cultures and continents through its strategic hub in Istanbul.

Speaking on the launch, Prof. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee at Turkish Airlines, expressed enthusiasm over the expansion: “We are delighted to offer our passengers a new travel option with the launch of our Seville flights. We believe these flights to one of Spain’s oldest settlements will create fresh opportunities for tourism and business, while further boosting trade and cultural ties across the region.”

Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is celebrated for its rich historical heritage that spans from ancient times through the Umayyad civilization. The city is famed for its vibrant architecture, lively cultural scene, and world-renowned Andalusian cuisine, making it one of Spain’s most attractive destinations. By adding Seville to its global network, Turkish Airlines aims to provide travelers with more alternatives while also supporting the growing demand for international tourism in Southern Spain.
