Royal Jordanian Airlines has announced the launch of new non-stop routes from Amman to Mumbai and New Delhi, furthering its growth and expansion strategy. The Mumbai route will operate four weekly flights starting April 17, 2025, while the New Delhi route will begin with four weekly flights on September 17, 2025. These new connections aim to position Jordan as a premier tourism destination for Indian travelers and enhance its global connectivity to over 45 destinations.
Aligned with the “Explore Jordan” program, the airline seeks to showcase Jordan’s unique blend of ancient wonders, such as Petra and the Dead Sea, with the modern vibrancy of Amman. With a flight time of just five hours, the routes aim to provide Indian travelers with seamless access to Jordan’s rich cultural heritage and Arabian charm.
The flights will be operated by Royal Jordanian’s new state-of-the-art A320neo aircraft, which feature dual-class configurations (Economy and Business), advanced in-flight entertainment systems, and WiFi services. The new aircraft, set to join the fleet in 2025/26 as part of the airline’s expansion, ensure enhanced comfort and efficiency for passengers. Tickets will start at INR 19,999 for one-way journeys and INR 33,333 for return trips, offering competitive pricing for Indian travelers.
Amman, the airline’s hub, will also serve as a gateway for Indian passengers to destinations in Europe, North America, and the Middle East. This strategic move highlights Royal Jordanian’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and connecting cultures while promoting Jordan as a boutique tourism destination.

Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) also welcomed the development, emphasizing the importance of enhanced global connectivity and seamless travel options. An official spokesperson from MIAL commented, “This new route reinforces our vision to strengthen global reach while delivering unparalleled convenience to travelers.”
