Major Airlines Announce Return to Israel Amid Gradual Resumption of Flights

Several international airlines are resuming flights to Israel, signaling a recovery in the aviation sector. Low-cost carrier EasyJet has announced the reinstatement of its services to the country starting June 1, 2025. Similarly, the Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, will gradually resume flights to and from Tel Aviv beginning February 1, 2025.

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has also confirmed its return to Israel with a full flight schedule this summer, marking its comeback to Ben Gurion Airport after halting operations in February 2024.

Despite these developments, several major airlines, including Air France, British Airways, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Air India, Virgin Atlantic, KLM, Air Baltic, and Iberia Express, have yet to announce their return to Israel. The tourism industry is optimistic about further announcements as the country works to restore connectivity and bolster international travel.
