Turkish Airlines has announced the launch of flights from Istanbul to Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, starting December 10, 2025. With this expansion, Cambodia becomes the airline’s seventh destination in Southeast Asia, and Phnom Penh the 11th city in the region.
The new route is expected to enhance trade relations between Türkiye and Cambodia while contributing to the country’s growing economy. This addition expands Turkish Airlines’ Far East network to 20 cities and 21 airports, reinforcing its status as the only European carrier serving Phnom Penh.
Flights will operate three times a week via Bangkok. Departures from Istanbul are scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while return flights from Phnom Penh will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Prof. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, emphasized the airline’s commitment to strengthening connections in Asia. “Our flights to Cambodia will create new opportunities for tourism and business while further solidifying our leadership in the region,” he said.
