In an effort to promote closer tourism collaboration between Russia and India, the Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) officially announced its 6th Annual Convention, which will take place in Moscow from July 10–13, 2025. Around 50 important stakeholders, including members of the OTOAI, representatives from the Moscow City Tourism Committee, and members of the media, attended the high-profile industry event at the Le Meridien in New Delhi when the disclosure was made.
The event highlighted Moscow’s varied tourism options, which are tailored to the changing tastes of Indian outbound tourists and range from famous architectural and cultural heritage to first-rate hospitality experiences. The event was hailed by OTOAI President Himanshu Patil as a turning point for bilateral travel, establishing Moscow as a destination that combines modern sophistication with historical charm.
Co-Chairman Monia Kapoor and Convention Chairman Shravan Bhalla gave a thorough rundown of the convention’s agenda, which included business meetings, cultural exhibits, and B2B networking. Shravan Bhalla and Anastasia Popova, Head of the Moscow City Tourism Committee’s Business Tourism Development Department, signed a Memorandum of Understanding, signifying their shared dedication to a long-term tourism partnership.
The city’s impressive infrastructure, safety, and appeal for both leisure and MICE travelers were highlighted by Anastasia Popova, who expressed excitement about holding the convention in Moscow. About 180 Indian delegates are anticipated to attend the event.
