The Indian Exhibitions, Conferences & Events Services Association (IESA) is gearing up to host the 5th edition of India Expo Shop, scheduled for August 12-13, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka. With participation from over 550 member firms, the event is set to spotlight India’s rapidly growing Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry, which is forecast to more than double in value from USD 49.4 billion in 2024 to a projected USD 103.7 billion by 2030 at a robust CAGR of 13.2%.
The expo will see the debut of ‘EventFully Bharat 1.0’, a new platform dedicated to showcasing disruptive technologies and innovative startups in the events sector. Selected entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their solutions to an esteemed jury comprising global buyers, investors, and industry leaders, further cementing India’s status as a hub for MICE innovation.
According to Jatinder Kapur, President of IESA, “India’s MICE sector is rapidly emerging as a key economic driver, hosting over 35,000 corporate events annually and nurturing a robust talent ecosystem.” General Secretary Uma Menon added that the association remains committed to building unified platforms and meaningful business opportunities to help scale up the sector’s contribution to India’s economy.
India Expo Shop 2025 will focus on integrating national goals such as Smart Cities and Net Zero through world-class event service delivery, highlighting the sector’s vital role in job creation, infrastructure development, and driving local economies. As the industry continues to expand, this event promises to be a pivotal showcase of India’s entrepreneurial energy and its growing influence on global event narratives.
