The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Taj hotel along Chennai’s East Coast Road (ECR) — a greenfield project set to redefine the city’s luxury beachfront experience.
Set across 13 acres of pristine seafront, the upcoming 151-key Taj ECR Chennai will offer panoramic views of the Bay of Bengal. The property will combine leisure and business appeal, featuring an all-day diner, two specialty restaurants, a bar, and Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle. State-of-the-art event spaces, including two large banquet halls (10,000 sq.ft. and 5,300 sq.ft.), multiple meeting rooms, and expansive beachfront lawns, will cater to both grand celebrations and corporate gatherings.
