With airspace over Saudi Arabia and Oman remaining open, Air India and Air India Express have confirmed that their scheduled operations to Jeddah and Muscat continue as planned.
Air India is currently maintaining its scheduled services between Delhi and Mumbai and Jeddah. Meanwhile, Air India Express continues to operate regular flights connecting Muscat with Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai and Kannur, along with services between Jeddah and Bengaluru, Kozhikode and Mangaluru.
In view of continuing airspace restrictions in parts of West Asia, both airlines are also operating additional non-scheduled flights on March 8 after securing approvals from Indian and local authorities.
Air India will operate extra services between Delhi and Mumbai and Dubai, while Air India Express plans to operate 30 additional flights linking India with UAE destinations including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.
The additional services aim to ensure connectivity and accommodate passenger demand amid ongoing airspace restrictions across parts of the region.
