All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced a strategic collaboration linked to upcoming feature film – Ek Din, one love one chance, marking the airline’s first association with the Indian film industry as part of its broader India–Japan tourism engagement efforts.
The project was filmed across multiple destinations in Hokkaido, including Sapporo, Otaru, Asahikawa and Noboribetsu, highlighting Japan’s winter tourism appeal and scenic regional experiences. One of the key visual highlights of the film includes the internationally renowned Sapporo Snow Festival.
ANA supported the production with both international and domestic connectivity, while also using the collaboration to promote Japanese hospitality and regional tourism experiences among Indian travellers.

The announcement comes alongside ANA’s renewed focus on the Indian market following the resumption of daily Mumbai–Tokyo (Narita) flights from 29 March 2026, strengthening connectivity between the two countries.
Kazuto Shiba, General Manager of ANA Mumbai, said the initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to strengthening cultural and tourism ties between India and Japan, while encouraging more Indian travellers to explore Japan’s diverse destinations beyond traditional gateway cities.
Industry observers note that aviation-linked destination integrations through cinema and entertainment are increasingly becoming part of broader tourism marketing strategies, especially in high-growth outbound markets like India.
