ibis has announced the appointment of Vijayalakshmi P V as Director of Sales at ibis Kochi City Centre and Rathiesh Krishnan as Director of Sales at ibis Coimbatore.
The appointments are part of the brand’s strategy to strengthen commercial leadership across key southern markets and drive stronger sales performance, corporate engagement and revenue growth.
Vijayalakshmi P V brings over 12 years of professional experience, including extensive hospitality sales expertise with brands such as Marriott, Novotel and Grand Hyatt. She was also part of the pre-opening team of ibis Kochi City Centre and is expected to further strengthen the hotel’s market positioning and corporate outreach.
Meanwhile, Rathiesh Krishnan joins ibis Coimbatore with more than 17 years of hospitality experience across brands including Hyatt, IHG, ITC Hotels and Ramada. His expertise in corporate and group sales is expected to support the hotel’s business growth and market expansion in the region.
Commenting on the appointments, Animesh Kumar said both leaders bring strong market understanding and experience that will further strengthen ibis’ commercial capabilities in South India.
