Ministry of Tourism showcases India as 365-day tourist destination at ATM 2024

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is participating in the Arabian Travel Mart 2024, which is being held in Dubai from May 6th to May 9th, 2024. This participation is pivotal in enhancing India’s visibility in the Middle East’s tourism sector.

The Incredible India pavilion was inaugurated on Monday (May 6) by Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India in Dubai. The pavilion debuted impressively, aiming to captivate the entire UAE market. India is represented by a delegation that includes tour operators, luxury hotels, wellness resorts, and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, demonstrating India’s appeal as a year-round destination.

At the Arabian Travel Mart, the Ministry of Tourism introduced the ‘Cool Summers of India’ campaign. This digital initiative counters the perception that India is excessively hot during summer by promoting its cooler destinations, including the Himalayan hill resorts. The campaign positions India as an attractive, all-season destination.

The event serves as a vital platform for Indian tourism stakeholders to display their services, build industry partnerships, and draw visitors from the MENA region. This engagement is anticipated to increase revenue and support job growth in India’s tourism industry.
