Stonewood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mr. Amish Mathur as the General Manager of Maan Vilas by Stonewood Premier, Udaipur. With 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Mathur has held diverse roles across QSR chains, international hotel brands, and independent properties. A hotel management graduate from Mangalore University (1994-97), he began his career as a management trainee at The Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur, and later contributed to the Taj Reservation Network.
Most recently, Mr. Mathur led the renovation of a 300-year-old haveli at Zone Palace by The Park, Phalodi, creating a sustainable business model with his philosophy, “sell the destination to sell the hotel.”
