Ben Gurion Airport Unveils ‘The Eternity of Israel’ Exhibition Showcasing Nation’s Rich History

Ben Gurion Airport’s Terminal 3 has opened a new exhibition, The Eternity of Israel, offering travelers an immersive journey through Israel’s history. Organized by the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Airports Authority, and the Israel Ministry of Heritage, the exhibition features rare archaeological discoveries and historic photographs, showcasing the resilience and cultural legacy of the Jewish people.

Running until January 2026, the exhibition presents artifacts such as Hasmonean-era agricultural tools, ancient coin hoards, and an original 5-ton Western Wall stone. Visitors can explore key historical moments through QR-coded videos filmed at excavation sites and interactive models of significant findings.

Supported by the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust, the exhibition was inaugurated by former Israel Minister of Heritage Amichai Eliyahu, Israel Antiquities Authority Director Eli Escusido, and National Airport Authority Managing Director Udi Bar-Oz. Curator Galit Litani emphasized that the exhibition highlights the enduring connection of the Jewish people to their land through archaeology, history, and culture.

Eli Escusido noted that in an era of misinformation, The Eternity of Israel offers travelers a compelling, fact-based experience of Israel’s heritage. Former Minister Eliyahu stressed the exhibition’s timely significance, reinforcing national resilience and commitment to history amid ongoing challenges.
