IHCL Expands Ginger Footprint with Kota Debut, Targets Emerging Business Hubs

In line with its strategy to expand in high-growth secondary cities, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of Ginger Kota, marking the Ginger brand’s entry into one of Rajasthan’s key commercial and educational centres.

The 28-key hotel is positioned to cater to rising demand from business and institutional travellers in Kota, a city witnessing steady growth driven by industrial activity, coaching institutes, and improving connectivity.

Ginger Kota features the brand’s signature Qmin all-day dining restaurant and a conference room designed for meetings and small gatherings, aligning with the needs of corporate guests.

The launch underscores IHCL’s focus on strengthening its lean luxe Ginger Hotels portfolio in emerging markets, where demand for branded, value-driven hospitality is on the rise.

With a portfolio of 628 hotels, including 255 in the pipeline across 14 countries, IHCL continues to accelerate its expansion across India’s fast-growing cities. Its flagship brand Taj Hotels was recently ranked the World’s Strongest Hotel Brand 2025 and India’s Strongest Brand 2025, further reinforcing the Group’s leadership in the hospitality sector.
