Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Sector 83, Gurugram, reinforcing its expansion strategy across emerging commercial and hospitality hubs within the National Capital Region.
The greenfield project, being developed in partnership with the Orris Group, will feature 220 rooms along with multiple dining venues, banquet facilities, a swimming pool and wellness infrastructure catering to both business and social events.
The signing highlights growing demand for branded full-service hospitality in New Gurugram, which continues to witness rapid expansion driven by the corporate, financial services and IT/ITeS sectors.
Industry observers note that IHCL is increasingly strengthening its mid-scale Gateway brand in fast-growing urban corridors, targeting travellers seeking premium yet accessible hospitality experiences.
With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Haryana will expand to 15 hotels, including six currently under development, reflecting the company’s continued focus on high-growth domestic markets.
The development also underlines Gurugram’s rising importance as a hospitality and business destination within the NCR region, supported by sustained infrastructure and real estate growth.
