IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Canary Riverside Plaza, Vignette Collection by IHG, marking the brand’s first property in London and IHG’s debut in Canary Wharf.
Developed in partnership with Yianis Group, the 142-room luxury hotel is scheduled to open in summer 2026. The property will offer river-view guestrooms and suites, a restaurant and bar, meeting and event facilities for up to 200 guests, and access to a health club and spa.
Willemijn Geels said the signing strengthens IHG’s growing Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in the UK capital, while John Christodoulou highlighted Canary Wharf as a key destination for the development.
The hotel will join IHG’s expanding Vignette Collection portfolio, which currently has 34 open hotels and 45 more in the global pipeline.
