The Jindal Steel Indian Open Polo Championship is back, and it’s set to bring some exciting polo action to the Jaipur Polo Ground in New Delhi from March 18 to March 23, 2025. Organized by Jindal Panther Polo, this top-tier tournament will feature India’s best polo players competing for the championship title.
Naveen Jindal, an industrialist and passionate polo player, has been a key figure in promoting the sport in India. As Vice President of the Indian Polo Association and a player since 1987, he has turned Jindal Panther Polo into one of the country’s leading teams, known for its excellence both on and off the field.
This year’s event will see four elite teams—Jindal/Carysil, Jindal Panther, Jaipur Delta, and Dynamic Achievers—battling it out in a cross-semi-final format. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 21, followed by the subsidiary final on March 22, and the grand finale on March 23. The matches will be officiated by internationally acclaimed umpires Henry Fisher and Ben Turner, ensuring a high-quality competition.
Beyond the tournament, Jindal Panther Polo is focused on nurturing young talent, building global partnerships, and investing in top-notch training facilities. Under Naveen Jindal’s leadership, these efforts are helping India make its mark in the global polo scene while celebrating and preserving the country’s rich equestrian traditions.
