Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, marked the country’s historic win to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup with special in-flight celebrations across over 30 flights.
Passengers were informed of the milestone with live announcements by captains from the cockpit, creating a memorable and emotional moment. Select flights featured green lighting reflecting the Saudi flag, while in-flight entertainment displayed the flag and played “Fouq Ham Al-Sohib” by renowned artist Mohammed Abdu, inspiring national pride.
Special mementos, including themed boarding passes, stickers, and mini Saudi flags, were distributed on some flights. On a Jeddah-to-Dubai flight, passengers were awarded a 34% bonus in miles as a gesture of appreciation.
This innovative celebration highlighted Saudia’s role in commemorating Saudi Arabia’s journey to hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
