
In a remarkable display of cultural pride and global wellness spirit, IndiaTourism Delhi, under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, hosted a grand celebration of the International Day of Yoga 2025 at the iconic Qutub Minar Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.




Set against the serene backdrop of the Sun Dial Lawns, the early morning event (6:00 AM to 8:00 AM) beautifully embodied this year’s global theme:
“Yoga for One Earth, One Health”, highlighting the intrinsic bond between human well-being and planetary health.

The session was steered by renowned Yoga Guru Shri Gopal Rishi from Sukrit Wellness and his expert team. He led over 400 participants through a powerful and calming sequence of asanas and pranayama, blending tradition with practical wellness. His address underscored Yoga’s timeless role in fostering harmony of body, mind, and soul.

The event commenced with a welcome address by the Regional Director (North), followed by words of encouragement from the Hon’ble MLA. Attendees also gathered to witness the live broadcast of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s address, which added a moment of national pride and collective resonance.
The morning culminated with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Principal of IHM, who acknowledged the spirited involvement of every individual and partner organization that made the event a success.
As the sun rose over the heritage site, the collective chant of “Om” and synchronized Yoga movements echoed a powerful message: India’s ancient wisdom continues to guide the world towards a healthier, more harmonious future.
