EaseMyTrip and Ayodhya Development Authority Launch Theerth Yatri Sewa Booth to Enhance Pilgrimage Experience

EaseMyTrip, through its spiritual tourism initiative EasyDarshan, has partnered with the Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) to unveil the Theerth Yatri Sewa Booth at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk in Ayodhya. This initiative aims to enhance the pilgrimage experience while creating employment opportunities for local youth.

The booth serves as a dedicated resource center for pilgrims visiting the Ram Lalla temple and other religious sites in Ayodhya, offering comprehensive services such as guidance, Sugam Darshan bookings, special aarti arrangements, wheelchair accessibility, and cultural insights. Staffed by trained local youth, known as “Theerth Sevaks,” the initiative empowers the community while enriching the experience for visitors.

In response to the rising demand for accommodations, EasyDarshan is also collaborating with ADA to develop homestays around Ayodhya, ensuring affordable lodging options while promoting community participation in the growing tourism sector.

Ashwini Kumar Pandey, Vice Chairman of ADA, highlighted the shared vision of transforming Ayodhya into a global spiritual destination, while Rikant Pittie, CEO and Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, emphasized the goal of making pilgrimages seamless and enriching through meaningful services and local support.

EasyDarshan will also assist ADA in managing large-scale events and festivals, providing manpower and logistical expertise to ensure smooth operations during peak periods. This initiative represents a significant step toward making Ayodhya a premier spiritual and cultural hub for pilgrims worldwide.
