The PATA Nepal Chapter, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board and Nepal Airlines, is proud to announce the 5th edition of Nepal’s premier international travel and tourism trade show—Himalayan Travel Mart (HTM) 2025—scheduled to take place from June 3 to 5, 2025, at The Soaltee, Kathmandu. Organized with the participation of prominent tourism associations and global partners, HTM 2025 marks a special milestone as it coincides with the Golden Jubilee of PATA Nepal Chapter, celebrating 50 years of advancing Nepal’s tourism, and the 75th anniversary of the historic first ascent of Mount Annapurna by Maurice Herzog, whose family will be present to commemorate the occasion.

Held annually in June, HTM is Nepal’s flagship international tourism event, fostering global business networking, partnerships, and knowledge-sharing. This year’s theme, “Nepal: Gateway to the Himalayas,” aims to reinforce Nepal’s status as a premier, year-round destination by promoting its unique tourism offerings and encouraging collaboration among stakeholders. HTM 2025 is expected to attract over 700 delegates from 30+ countries, including more than 100 international participants and wide representation from Nepal’s public and private tourism sectors.
The event will open with Pre-Mart Familiarization Tours from May 29 to June 2, offering international buyers, bloggers, and media a curated travel experience through two itineraries: the classic Golden Triangle (Kathmandu–Chitwan–Pokhara) and a deep dive into Kathmandu Valley and surroundings (Panauti, Dhulikhel, Nagarkot, and UNESCO sites). These tours are designed to showcase Nepal’s rich cultural and natural diversity.
The HTM 2025 Conference on June 3 will follow the theme “Mountains, Milestones, and Momentum,” reflecting Nepal’s geographical identity, tourism achievements, and forward momentum. With over 20 national and international thought leaders, sessions will explore vital topics such as Spiritual, Adventure, and Luxury Tourism, Cultural Intelligence, Sustainable Tourism, and Emerging Travel Trends.
The event’s B2B Buyers & Sellers Meet, to be held on June 4–5, will bring together 60+ buyer organizations from over 21 countries including the USA, Europe, Australia, Russia, Asia, and the Gulf, and 65+ seller organizations from six countries: Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Tibet (China), and Sri Lanka. These sessions are designed to generate meaningful business leads and partnerships in the global travel trade sector.
Key partners supporting HTM 2025 include: Nepal Tourism Board (Organizing Partner), Nepal Airlines (Official Airline Partner), The Soaltee Kathmandu (Official Venue), VISA (Global Payment Partner), Ncell (Communication Partner), CIWEC Hospital (Health Partner), Turkish Airlines (International Airline Partner), and Buddha Air (Domestic Airline Partner), among others. The event also has strong support from hospitality leaders like Hilton Kathmandu, Kantipur Temple House, Hotel Sarowar, and Barahi Hospitality, to name a few.
