Accor has announced the signing of Mantis Nagarhole, an eco-luxury wildlife retreat set to open in Karnataka in 2028, further strengthening the hospitality group’s experiential and sustainability-focused portfolio in India.
Located on the edge of the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve within the Nilgiri Biosphere landscape, the upcoming resort will feature 31 keys spread across nearly 13 acres of wilderness terrain.
Developed in collaboration with Macs Max Private Limited, the property will include cottages and rooms designed using low-impact sustainable architecture, reflecting the conservation-led philosophy of Accor’s Mantis brand.
The eco-retreat will offer an all-day dining restaurant, bar, spa, swimming pool and fitness facilities, alongside curated nature-based experiences such as guided safaris, nature trails and cultural immersion activities. Unique features will also include a viewing tower and outdoor spaces designed to enhance guest engagement with the surrounding wildlife landscape.
Accor stated that Nagarhole is emerging as a key luxury eco-tourism destination, with increasing demand for low-density and experience-driven hospitality offerings.
