
Cordelia Cruises will return to Chennai for its fifth cruising season in 2026, reinforcing the city’s growing importance as a major cruise tourism gateway in India. The cruise line’s vessel, the Cordelia Empress, will begin operations from Chennai on June 20, 2026, with sailings scheduled till the end of August.
The season will feature a mix of domestic and international itineraries ranging from two to ten nights, covering destinations such as Visakhapatnam, Puducherry, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia. Key highlights include a 10-night Southeast Asia cruise covering Phuket, Langkawi, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, along with multiple Sri Lanka sailings and short weekend cruises from Chennai.
Cordelia Cruises will also introduce an extended 13-night cruise combining Visakhapatnam, Chennai and Southeast Asia in a seamless itinerary for long-haul travellers.
