Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Cygnett Inn Motihari, a new brownfield hospitality project in Bihar, strengthening the group’s expansion across emerging Tier II and Tier III cities in India.
Located in Motihari, East Champaran district, the upcoming midscale hotel will feature 70 rooms along with an all-day dining restaurant, gym, spa, swimming pool, and extensive banqueting facilities.
A major highlight of the property will be its large event infrastructure, including a 5,500 sq. ft. banquet hall connected to a 17,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn, targeting weddings, social events, and corporate gatherings. The hotel will also offer dedicated meeting spaces for conferences and private events.
Commenting on the development, Sarbendra Sarkar said the signing aligns with the company’s strategy to expand branded hospitality infrastructure in high-growth regional markets driven by rising business activity and improving connectivity.
The hotel is expected to become operational by the end of 2026.
