IndiGo Launches Direct Flights Connecting Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, and Srinagar

IndiGo, India’s leading airline, has announced the launch of new direct flights connecting Bhubaneswar to Dehradun and Dehradun to Srinagar, starting February 6, 2025. This expansion reinforces IndiGo’s commitment to enhancing regional and domestic connectivity, offering more convenient and affordable travel options for both business and leisure travelers.

The direct flights will make it easier for passengers to explore key destinations. Bhubaneswar, known for its ancient temples like the Lingaraj Temple, the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, and vibrant local cuisine, serves as a cultural gateway to eastern India. Dehradun, nestled in the Himalayan foothills, offers attractions such as Robber’s Cave, Sahastradhara, and the historic Forest Research Institute. Srinagar, often called the “Venice of the East,” enchants visitors with serene shikara rides on Dal Lake, Mughal gardens like Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, and breathtaking views of Kashmir’s majestic landscapes.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed enthusiasm about the new routes, stating, “We are pleased to introduce these direct flights, providing travelers with seamless and efficient travel options while strengthening connectivity across India.” IndiGo’s robust network includes over 200 weekly flights from Bhubaneswar, 90+ from Dehradun, and 120+ from Srinagar, connecting these cities to a wide range of destinations.
