
Wonderla Holidays Ltd. has entered the premium staycation segment with the launch of Terrea by Wonderla, a fully reimagined urban resort adjacent to its Bengaluru amusement park.
Developed with an investment of ₹18 crore, the project marks the transformation of the earlier Wonderla Resort into an upscale hospitality offering, signalling the company’s strategic shift from park-led visits to integrated leisure experiences.
The 84-key property has been redesigned with themed rooms and upgraded dining, leisure and event facilities, targeting families, corporate groups and urban travellers seeking short-duration getaways. Located just 300 metres from the amusement park, the resort is positioned to capitalise on the growing demand for combined “park + stay” experiences.
The launch also reflects Wonderla’s broader push to build a hospitality ecosystem around its parks. With Terrea joining its boutique retreat The Isle by Wonderla, the company is expanding into multi-format stays aimed at capturing a larger share of the high-spending leisure and MICE segments.
As India’s staycation and short-break travel market gains momentum, Wonderla’s move underscores a clear strategy to diversify beyond ticketed attractions and tap into the fast-growing experiential hospitality space.
