Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has announced the signing of a management agreement for its newest upscale property in Vadodara, Gujarat Presidency Club & Resort, which will operate under the Absolute Collection brand. Spread across 4 acres of lush green landscape off ECPL Road near Sherkhi village, the resort is designed as a premium destination offering 52 well-appointed rooms including luxury suites and exclusive club rooms, multiple banquet halls with expansive lawns ideal for weddings and corporate events, an all-day dining restaurant, stylish culinary venues, outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym, and exclusive sports and club facilities.
This development marks AHS’s second property in Vadodara, complementing Eastin Residences Vadodara in Alkapuri. While Eastin caters to business and long-stay travellers in the city centre, Presidency Club & Resort introduces a leisure-focused, independent-style hospitality product in a serene resort setting. The Absolute Collection allows unique independent hotels to retain their own identity while leveraging AHS’s operational excellence, ensuring a tailored experience for diverse guest preferences.
With Vadodara emerging as a strong hospitality hub fueled by its cultural landmarks like Laxmi Vilas Palace, thriving industries in petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, IT, and enhanced connectivity through the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, upcoming bullet train corridor, and robust air and rail links AHS aims to serve both business and leisure travellers.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Sameer Dharkar, Managing Director – India & South Asia, AHS, said, “We are delighted to enhance our presence in Vadodara with the launch of Presidency Club & Resort under our Absolute Collection. Together with Eastin Residences, this strengthens our dual strategy of serving both urban business travellers and resort-oriented leisure guests. Vadodara is fast becoming a key destination, and this signing reflects our commitment to delivering customised hospitality solutions that resonate with local and global markets.”
